Mural Finally Up and Done!

Our big project has finally came to an end after hours of painting every night once the little one has gone to bed. I told daddy we need to take a break before the next one begins. After all, I need to spend some quality time relaxing and reading the romance novels that I have just borrowed. ;)

Anyway, below are some of the pictures taken during the hard work:

I can't seems to rub off the stains, so I had to re-color the whole back ground from yellow into green. Couldn't seems to cover the result of the crime but at least it's less obvious than it was against the yellow background.

A variety colors of acrylic paint that daddy has bought for over 100 bucks!

Finally, our hard work were over...below are some shots of the finished project in the effort to decorate Lunz own room.

Mural painting is definitely not easy. Apart from being extremely careful not to color across the border of different areas, you have to apply 2-3 coats of paint for the painting to appear nice. It took us at least 2 weeks with the painting because we can only start work after Luz had gone to bed, for it not, he will surely says he wants to color as well.

Mum complimented it looked wonderful and since there are colors left, we will proceed to another one soon. Maybe perhaps the Mickey Mouse & Friends or the Pocoyo images. Whichever is easiest to draw and color, of course.
