The Legend International Water Homes @ PD

As daddy will be starting his new job in DELL today, he took all of us for a short trip to PD last weekend. Just a relaxing trip before the change of job. As we had stayed in Thistle before, we decided to try something different this time. Pool-in-the-room hotel! The Legends International Water Homes.

Astro employees can get the room rates at a promotional price. So, it was kinda worth visiting since the hotel is a 5-star and was just newly opened 6 months ago. The promotion was considered a last minute treat from Astro because he just found out about it a week before his last day in Astro. But no fret because all we gotta show during check-in was just his Astro ID tag and he has it along with him anyway! We decided quite late on this trip and all the executive rooms (water villas ---> water chalets la) were fully booked. So, we have to decide between deluxe (above sea) or garden villas (on ground).

As we all know, PD's water condition is not clear. So, practically there is nothing to see even though we choose the deluxe room. Plus the deluxe room only have one king size bed. All 3 of us have to squeeze in together. Thus, I did rather pay extra 6 bucks only to have a room with 2 king size bed instead. But of course, the garden villas are on the ground instead of above-the-sea view. Luckily we chose a garden villa because the room was wider in square meters than the deluxe one. For me, an additional 6 bucks, I'm more than happy to pay!

The garden villas. Our room was the first one in the row.

Our room.

We have two king size beds.

Room has DVD player which I think is very good. At least it kept the little one accompanied.

Glass door leads to the pool while the wooden door leads to the kitchen.

Kitchen and bathroom area, all are nicely partitioned.

The kitchen. Microwave and kettle provided as well as bowls and cutlery.

Good. So we had steamboat and vodka lime there. It was heaven.

Tea making facilities.

The bathroom basin.

Opened door = shower area, closed door = toilet bowl, apa lagi.

Wooden window that separates the pool from the kitchen area. You can actually watched your kid swim while you eat.

The highlight of the room. Pool.

Shower area right at the end of the pool.

The water was chilling. The management should have installed a heater in every pool. So much for a 5 star. One of the setback of the hotel.

Lunz requested daddy to two-two again.

The main pool.

That's me!

A walk at the water villas. Water level has subsided leaving behind a muddy view.

Not a very nice view.

My baby. When I dared not take a dip in the pool because the water was chilling, he said, "Mummy so scared one". Hmmpphh....he know how to tease me already.

Father and son.

The children play room.

Happy Birthday daddy!

Silly daddy listening to his son sang birthday song.

Clapping and singing birthday song.

Lastly, a picture of me cam whoring. Hahaha....

And another...hehehe...

Another setback of the room was there were a lot of mosquito. Daddy and I were hunting for mosquito the whole night. Imagined. In just that small room, we already killed more than 10 mosquito. Scary huh? And those mosquito were already immune to the mosquito repellent that the hotel provided.

Anyway, we enjoyed the trip overall. Ahhh.....breakfast and dinner also provided. But still, we preferred out steamboat better!

Another interesting thing was Lunz actually asked his daddy:

Lunz: table plus chair equals to?
Daddy: ???? Dunno......
Lunz: tablechair!

Good answer!

Ain't he cute?

The extra flesh is there! It's the camera w/o flash effect only. Remember how big was lunz? How can I possibly eliminate those sagging flesh without being regulars to the gym. Hahaha....

Btw, you looked good enough already. What is the putting off weight going on? You don't like the food there after 3 weeks in KL? Don't starve yourself. If you don't like the local food, have some healthier choice like salads and sandwiches and fruits. That should keep you healthy and weight balanced.

Miss you!
