Room Cleaning

Last Saturday I spent the whole day cleaning up our house. In fact, just daddy's room. Hehehehe....but I did sweep and mop the living room also although really no hardcore cleaning on that area. But cleaning up just a single room is enough to kill me already. It was damn tedious that I felt exhausted and so sleepy after that. I only managed to finish the cleaning by 3pm which we started once we woke up. Daddy took part as well (Of course la, he was the one who initiated the cleaning). Hahahaha....

We emptied the wooden table placed at the corner of the room that was used to store a lot of unwanted things such as receipts and junk stuffs. It's usual that when we have extra place to put things, surely everything will be accumulated there and then. We moved the wooden table across the room to serve as the computer table. The previous computer table was dismantled and being stored away. The view look much cleaner and tidier now. After moving the furniture, I had to sweep and mop the floor. Not to mention the need to change the bedsheets as well due to dusts were just everywhere. Wiped and polished the TV table, bed frames and the rest of the furniture.

Previously we do intend to move Lunz bed away from our bed (Currently his single bed is attached together with our bed). This is just to train him to sleep independently which I think later will prove useful when he has his own room. But no matter how we tried to figure the furniture arrangement, yet we couldn't come up with a proper arrangement due to the lack of space in the room. When we finally succeeded to come up with an idea on how to arrange and locate the furniture, we encountered another problem. How on earth to transport my mum's wooden single bed here? I mean can geh, but a bit troublesome to hire a lorry just to transport the frame of a single bed. I intended to exchange Lunz current steel bed without the side bars with my mum's wooden bed that has the side bars. If his bed is to be separated from ours, he needs the side bars to prevent him from falling down in the middle of the night.

This transportation issue never occurred to us before as we were too eager to move the furniture for a change that we thought that normal cars can fit in the bars after dismantling it. Nevertheless, we still managed to change the room a bit and this was due to 2 major reasons:

1. Daddy just bought a new customized personal desktop computer that I think the wooden table will serve better than the not-so-stable computer desk.
2. I wanted to have an area for Lunz to put his toys and books without them being scattered everywhere.

I achieved the missions and were quite satisfied with the arrangements. Lunz finally had an area for himself after the wooden table was moved away. He can now store his toys properly on the rack that I provided for him. Books were stacked and arranged nicely. Study table with crayons, color pencils and books were nicely placed on top of it and a chair next to it. Even Lunz was fascinated with the new area that he can stand there and choose what he wants to play next from the rack.

Till then, the furniture will remains until I have the space and room to start the whole crazy cleaning again. Hah!
